how do i get voice command to work

Even when I follow the instruction of using voice command mode and using
dictation mode in fact, when i switch on the microphone on the language bar
and say “microphone†to switch it off even that didn’t work. And i even set
up the training profile please i need to know what I’m doing wrong.
