How do i group my addresses

I do not want to make distro lists. I want to make subgroups from the main
contacts list. IE "Family" or "Work" or "Church" and then click on that
list and select individual email addresses from that list to use in sending
an email. thanks, d

Explain why Outlook's Categories function does not meet your needs.

Hi cauldeb,

why do not create additional contact folders like?

Contacts
Family
Work
Church

You can use this additional contact folder as "Outlook Addressbook"

How to select a contact folder as Outlook Addressbook?

Russ, I have been using Outlook Express for years and find it so much easier
to set up groups in my address book with Xpress than I do Outlook. At least
so far. Will try the suggestion below.

Outlook's distribution lists are the counterpart of OE's address book
groups. They work the same.
