how do I have contacts and companies name is tasks

I'm new to outlook, When I create field chooser and have the Company Name &
Contact name in fields Sometimes both Company name & Contact name shows up
when I schedule a task. (That is what I want) However most of the time only
the contact name shows up??? and no Company Name? Does anyone know why this
is inconsistant? And How I can display both all the time?
