How do I hide the Explorer Window when viewing folders in XP?

Is there a way to hide the Explorer Window just like you can toggle the
Status Bar? I can get somewhat of a solution by choosing View... Explorer
Bar... Folders and then squeezing the window so it's as narrow as possible,
but I'm hoping there's an easy way to hide the bar altogether. It would help
when taking screenshots of the folder window.
I have XP Professional 5.1, Service Pack 2.
Thanks in advance for any feedback.

This is an Operating system issue not Office. Simple answer is to not
use Windows "explorer".
