How do I highlight individual text?

I have a couple of slides with alot of legal mumbo jumbo
in them. I want to somehow highlight individual words to
emphasize those points within the large paragrahph.

Help me please!

Select the text with the cursor, then Format > font.

Jay,

Assuming you want to highlight these words "during" a presentation. One way
is to add rectangle autoshapes behind the text. Then set them to "appear on
mouse click" as you talk about them.
