How do I import/export Maximo to Project 2003?

Hi Tenhut,

Welcome to this Microsoft Project newsgroup :)

I don't know what Maximo is. However, if you create a new project and go to
File/Save As.../ at the bottom of the dialog is a Save as type option. Have
a look at the list of file types. If Maximo can save a file of the same
type, then it can be used in Project.

FAQs, companion products and other useful Project information can be seen at
this web address: http://project.mvps.org/faqs.htm

Hope this helps - please let us know how you get on :)

All,

For those of us not familiar with Maximo, it is Computerized
Maintenance Management Software (CMMS). IBM bought the company that
created it in July. The originating company was MRO.

Tenhut,

MRO/IBM makes an interface tool that you may use to integrate Maximo
and Project Pro. It's not terribly expensive, as I recall. See your
MRO rep.

Also, the big-time Maximo group is over on Yahoo. Point your browser
to:

Good luck,
Crook
