how do i import my contacts from hotmail to outlook express

I am using windows vistsa I have an inbox from hotmail on Outlook express so
I can collect my e-mails from hotmail and reply to them but not through
outlook.

No you don't because Outlook Express doesn't exist on Vista.

but not through outlook.

Download an install the Outlook Connector.
