how do I include some of the text

how do I include some of the text when repling to an e-mail.

I can include the whole mail or no mail, but not a particular sentence

You should be able to just delete the unnecessary text...are you having
trouble doing this?

No, I'm not I thought I remembered a way to select the sentences required.

I thought if you highlighted the area and then replied OL included the area
concerned however this does not work.

I've never seen that behavior in Outlook.
