How do I insert a graphic line?

I am currently taking a keyboarding course, and my assignment is asking me to
'Insert a graphic line, and change the width of the line to 6.5".' However,
I cannot seem to find where I can access graphic lines to choose from and
thereby insert them.

Display the Drawing toolbar. Click on the line tool, click and drag to draw
a line.

Lines are inserted using the Drawing toolbar. Click View > Toolbars and
select Drawing. Select the Line icon and draw a line. With the drawn line
selected, click Format > AutoShape and on the Size tab change the Width to
6.5.
