How do I insert into Microsoft Word from QuickVerse program?

when I used Word Perfect I could insert bible versed into my composition by
going to the Edit menu and clicking on "QuickVerse" which opened a window in
which I typed in the chapter and verses that I wanted to insert in what I was
writing. I did not have to go out to QuickVerse and copy then paste. To start
this process I opened the word processor and then opened and minimized
QuickVerse. Now I am trying to use Microsoft Word 2003 and a Quick Verse 7.
QuickVerse says you have to set up a "DDE" macro. I need help.
