How do I keep the Symbols box on top?

Hi all,

I'm in Excel 2003 and want to insert a symbol or special character. I can
do this. However, I may want to insert several characters in different
cells and don't want to have the bother of always having to open the Symbol
box. I want to have the Symbol box always available. Is there a way of
doing this?

Right-click the toolbar, click customize, customize tab, high-light insert,
scroll down to symbol, drag the symbol icon to the toolbar.
