How do i lock a client databse within outlook, we have a client l.

we have a client directory of 200. the users here are dragging and dropping
the clients from the database into their own contacts folder thus removing
the cleint from the databse. How can i prevent this from happing.

Presuming you mean you have a public contacts folder in Exchange, don't give
the users in question any more than 'reviewer' rights to that public
folder - or other granular permissions that don't let them delete any items.
