How do I log telephone calls

I'm using Mac 10.3.7 and Entourage X SR 1. I'm trying to figure out
how I can make notes of telephone conversations I have with my
contacts. (E.g., date and time of call, call duration, a notes field
for matters discussed, etc.) I can't seem to find an easy way to do
this. Frankly, I haven't found any way to do it. Then again, I'm
relatively new to both Mac and Entourage, so I may just be acting like
an idiot.

Any help would be most appreciated.

Project Center -> Notes -> New
Maybe?

Danny is right.
The only way to do it in Entourage thus far is just with a regular note.
You might want to make the Subject something like:

Phone Call : Person X

But, having used Now Contact before, I understand what you are looking for.
It would be a nice feature to have added into Entourage to enhance it's
ability as a contact manager.

You can either use a note, and link it to the contact entry, or use the
freeform 'comments' field in the contact entry itself.

There's a neat little script by Allen Watson which is freeware. It
creates a journal entry and automatically stamps the date and time. It
will then stay on your calendar for future reference. You can find it
at www.scriptbuilders.net by searching "open daily journal".
