How do I make a PowerPoint presentation start by itself?

I know over the years we all have gotten the email with a kitten slideshow
that plays cutesie music and then preceeds to progress to the next few slides
ending up on the last slide that asks you to forward it to a million of your
friends. I'm not trying to do this. However, I am trying to have my
presentations start upon insertion to a computer when the CD is loaded. I
know 'pps' is possible, but I understand it only works with 2003 users. How
can this be?

Using .pps (PowerPoint Show) format, slideshow will be started immediately if
you click on the file.

As for starting the slideshow immediately after you insert the CD. You can
create an autorun CD. Check this out for more information:
