how do i make a subfolder in naviagtion bar

I was wondering what I need to do to do this... In my navigation bar along
the side, when they click a word I want it to open up the subdirectory.
Example

Before:
Software (Click name takes it to another page)

After:
Software (Click name it shows type of software)
Operating System
Utilities

Would really be nice if I could get it to look like the Windows tree
structure looks with the icons as well.

You can do this using any number of methods. If you have FrontPage 2003,
it's fairly easy to do with Behaviors. Jim Buyens has a Web page that
demonstrates how, and I have a chapter in my book that walks you through
such a project.

If you want something more automated, I highly recommend DHTML Menu Builder.
It creates very professional looking menus and is a great package. See the
reviews page on my site for a link and more information.

They used PHP to do that, probably because they're menu is built from some
data source. You can do that same thing with DHTML Menu Builder. It will
allow you to dynamically populate the menu from a dynamic data source.

How much does it cost? or is a download?

It's $65, but you get upgrades free for life. You also get the Developer's
Edition (VERY cool) for free and you get excellent support from Xavier Flix,
the creator of DMB. Xavier is a great guy who is very customer-focused and
operates his business in a very ethical manner.

I highly recommend this product. I've been using it for over a year. I've
heard from others that I've pointed to it, and many have told me that they
are very happy they decided to use this product.

There is a free trial for download.

If you happen to own Microsoft Office FrontPage 2003 Inside Out, you
can also find the information on pp 694-700. The following information
on my Web site, however, is somewhat more specific.
