How do I make my website look same on any resolution?

I'm new at this... have created a nice looking website,
but did it while my resolution was set at 1280X1024. I
went live with it, and a co worker looked at it from home
and found that the pictures overlapped, and my text boxes
were everywhere... sure enough, in her resolution, it
looked like crud. Is there a setting for this or
something? I can't help but notice most every other
website I view doesn't have this problem!

thanks!

Set the content of the pages inside a table set at a fixed width.
Viewers with lower resolution monitors will have to scroll left and right
to view it though.

What I meant was, text boxes actually floated over each
other, and were in different locations ie. higher or lower
than the pictures next to them. my sight is
www.bodyshapersforwomen.com. the size of the text box in
reference to teh corisponding picturess is the exact same,
it just moves up or down. also, I had to eyeball their
location because it looked great in design, but off in
preview mode... so I'd adjust and look back and forth
until I got it right. Still though in other resolutions,
it's unreadable. by any chance can you take a peek at my
website (it's for my women's gym franchise) and tell me
what's up with the different resolutions?

Thanks!

I had pretty good luck puting everything in a table and
setting the table demensions to 100%. Dick

considering that many normal people use 800X600 I set my 19" monitor for it
while building a website so I know it will work, then I move back up to my
higher resolution. I now there is probably a better way of doing it but I
just do websites as a hobby and it works for me!
