How do I make the "typewrite" sound effects?

I saw a great powerpoint presentation where the numbers came in with
background noise of a typewriter effect. I can't find that anywhere in the
"add effect". Does anyone know how they did that? It looked really slick!!

Amanda,
Assuming you use PPT 2002/2003, and you have added an entrance effect to
your numbers, double click the effect in the task pane, choose the first tab
Effect, choose the listarrow next to sound and select typewriter, consider
changing the last item in the dialogue to by letter and put in an
appropriate delay.

Right now I have an effect on the entire table coming in, but am not sure how
to add an effect to each cell. Can you help me with that??

Okay, I figured out how to ungroup the cells so that I could an effect to
each cell. But, Now I can't figure out how to regroup just a row, so that a
row of cells comes in together. I'll keep looking. Thanks!
