How do I manage my day to day notes in computer

My job is sales and I have a paper note book on which I take my day to day
notes.
Presently I am not able to sort these notes other then date vise.
Is there a method by which I can computerize thers notes and sort them in
various ways for example by date, client comapny name, products sold, visits
made, phone calls made and other type of summaries?

Have you looked at OneNote? Used a scanner? Tried an OCR program?

I would highly recommend a handheld device like a PalmOne or Windows CE
device. You can get a keyboard that will attach to these devices. Then you
can type right into the device and when you get back to the computer you
will be able synchronize (some people think of downloading to or
transferring to) with you computer. No OCR, no scanning, although for your
existing notes that may still have to be done if you have a large number of
them.
