How do I prevent OUTLOOK 2003 closing after ACT! email synchroniz.

Recently installed OFFICE 2003. Applied HOTFIX to remedy problems between
office 2003 and ACT! db software. After email synchronization with laptops
the OUTLOOK 2003 email program on the main PC closes (this did not happen
previously with Outlook 2000). We do not want Outlook to close when it is
done synchronizing.
