How do I program a song to play through a powerpoint presentation

I am trying to put a song on a power point presentation for my one class. I
am having problems with it. when the slides advance, the song starts over.
The slides ONLY advance when I click the mouse. this is a major headache for
me.

After inserting the song Go to custom animation - find the media and double
click it

Change the setting for "stop playing after" to after x slides (x = number of
slide you have)

Check the link tohlz posted, but also, don't put the sound on the slide
master. Just put it on the slide you want it to start playing on.
