how do I project power point to tv screen

I have S video cord connected from E machines laptop- Windows XP to the
television. It is not coming up on any of my component or video2/3 options on
the TV- is there an option I need to choose on Power Point (never used it
before)?

Have you tried to switch your laptop to CRT mode? There is a function key on
each laptop (usually adjacent to the Windows key) that you need to hold down
and then hit one of the F keys on the laptop keyboard (it may have writing on
it such as CRT/LCD or a monitor logo) to switch your laptop mode to S-Video.
Depending on how many modes your laptop has, you may need to hit that
combination keyes a few times to make the connection to your TV.

Thanks, Dori. In the case of my E-machines Laptop is was the Function key
plus toggling the F4 key.

HELP!!! I did the function F4 to get my laptop in CRT mode, now I can't get
it back into LCD mode.
