how do I provide help notes on customized forms?

Steve

I'm attempting to develop a Document template for creating a standardized
report with section and subsection etc. I wanted to have help text avalable
for each section and subsection (not in the form of comments), preferrably
these text will appear when a user hover over the text block (similar to pdf
annotation). Anyone has suggestions?

TIA - Steve

I am not sure what sort of data you are wanting the user to insert and I
assume that the form you are talking about is in a protected document. If
using a userform instead was more suitable, you could use the Entry() and
Exit() events of controls on the form to set/clear the Caption property of a
label on the form so that it provided the desired information.

An option I use is Hidden Text. Write the help text for the user and Format
is as Hidden. User can "see" by clicking the Show/Hide button.
