New to MS outlook

Hi I want to read all my received mails ( from imap folder) in html or rich
text. My MS outlook automatically displays all mails in plain text, courier
10. So everytime I reply to message it is in same and I have to select html
version. In outlook express which I was using before I could set that all
replies should be in Times New Roman 12 . How do I do that in MS outlook ?

Firstly, unless you choose to receive all messages in plain text, you
have no control over the format of received messages. Secondly,
Outlook always responds with the same format that the original message
was composed in. If you want to change the format of your reply (NOT
recommended), you have to do so manually.

Outlook shows you mail in the format it was sent in (unless you choose to
see it all as Plain Text). You can set the font for Plain Text emails here:
Tools menu > Options > Mail Format > Fonts. That just controls how you see
it not how the recipient/sender sees it
