How do I reduce transition times to less than 1 second?

I am trying an experiment to see what viewers perceive with short exposure to
slides. To finally give quick view presentations which will be short and
remembered. I want to reduce the time of exposure to one or two slides in a
presentation to less than one second to see if the slide was seen.

I beleive in the transistions box under advance slide you can literally type
in 00:01 or whatever to override the one second you are trying to avoid.

PowerPoint might not be a good platform for this. Timings in PowerPoint
tend to be approximate. If you really need exact timings, you might want
to look elsewhere.
