How do I replace the "Messages" file?

I want Entourage 2004 to pick up the messages file from Entourage
2002. I've duplicated the Entourage 2002 messages file, moved it into
2004 Identites, moved out the 2004 messages, but even so, when I open
Entourage 2004, I get the same 2004 messages, not the 2002. Help!

You have to import to get previous Entourage data into 2004. Also, there was
no Entourage 2002 version. Only 2001, X, and 2004.

Dave, thank you. I imported--and yes, from Entourage 2001--but only
the folders came over, not the messages in them. What gives?

It sounds like maybe you don't have the Database file associated with the
Messages file for that identity.
