How do I replace the not-sign with a paragraph-mark?

The not-sign symbols were created by TestDirector software when creating a
table of test steps to follow. I suspect that the symbol has the function of
a manual-line-break within the TestDirector software, but when the test cases
are exported to MS Word the symbol is translated to the not-sign. I am
unsuccessful at find-and-replace to find these symbols and change them to
paragraph-marks.

Hi Rick,

If they are actually not-signs ¬, you can copy/paste one of them into "Edit

Replace" (Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V).

Or look for ^0172 or ^u172 ( = ANSI code or Unicode).

Replace with ^p (... also found under "More > Special > Paragraph mark").

If the "not-signs" are control characters ASCII 31 (doesn't seem unlikely),
you can find them with ^31 or ^-.
This control character is used for optional hyphens in Word, and displays
as ¬ if you show formatting characters.

It's also possible that they're line breaks (which are represented by an
arrow bent at a right angle). If so, you can search for them using ^l
(that's lowercase L). You might want to look at these articles:
