how do i restore a picture back to it's orginal state?

i was playing around with a pic trying to see what it looked like black and
white. but when i went to restore it it would not let me. all i had to work
wit more or less was "brightness and contrast" and "color" is there any way
to restore it back to its orginal state?

Is there an option to "reset picture" in whatever application you're using?

If you did not save the changes then there is no problem. Just close out from the Picture Editor and it will remain as original in your file.

If you saved it then it is gone and no way to turn it back to the original unless you have the original source of that picture
