How do i restore defaults for the arranging emails by date?

My boss accidently pushed Enter or something during an email and it changed
how her e-mail were arranged. She wants it to go back to normal- arranged by
date- but whenever we change it back to date it will not show who the message
is from. Can anyone help...PLEASE?? Thanks
