How do i see fencing of the matrix of order 2 x 2

I am using Microsoft office 2003, In my power point i cannot see the fencing
of matrix of order 2 x 2 or above, though i can see for one row matrix.

I tried all the possible ways like - unistalling and installing , repairing
and reinstalling, and also checked the border of the object.

Please help with the same as soon as possible
