How do i set MS Word to always select the A4 paper size?

Whenever I start a new document in word the paper Size is selected to Letter.
But I always use a A4 paper. Please tell me a way in which I can select A4
Size as the default paper size for word(or if possible for all microsoft
office applications)

Set Windows regional settings to a country that uses A4 by default eg UK

That will undoubtedly help, though it should suffice to choose A4 in Page
Setup and click Default... It also helps if A4 is selected as the default in
the printer Properties.
