How do I set up poroperties for import/xport wizard?

I want to import a .pst file from outlook on another machine. I start the
import/export wizard. I choose'import from another file', I choose the cd
that the .pst file is on as the source, but I get the message 'properties for
this information service must be defined prior to use', followed by 'acces
denied'. How do I set up these properties??

Firstly, do not import. Just go to File-Open-New Data File. Secondly, is the
file on a CD? If so , copy to the HDD and remove the Read-Only attribute.
