How do I stop syncing certain entries

S

Steven

I am a private teacher. I would like to sync current students from my
outlook to my windows mobile, but not former students. I have so many
numbers in my smartphone that it is overwhelming. Is there a way to do this?

without knowing how you are syncing, the best we can tell you is to read the
sync software's documentation. I know Blackberry's Desktop manager can sync
by category, and I think active sync can, but its been years since I used it
so you need to look in help.

Create another contacts folder to house your former students and move their
contact records to that folder. Your sync software likely will sync only your
default Contacts folder.
