How do I transfer a Power Point Presentation to a DVD format?

That is not a easy thing to do. You will loose the nice and smooth
change-over from picture to picture, and there are also at lot of
problem with "lagging".

The place to start for tips and tricks is here:
http://www.awesomebackgrounds.com/powerpoint-to-video.htm

The best software (I have found) to do the capture-job is Camtasia
Studio:
http://www.techsmith.com/products/studio/default.asp?lid=CamtasiaStudioHome

This software make a avi-file.
To make a DVD-file you have to use a convert-program. I like to use
WinAVI Video Converter http://www.winavi.com/
