How do I turn off "delete block/yes-no" prompt in Word 2002?

My boss runs Word 2002 and she admits to having recently delved into the
bowels of her PC (i.e.... clicking things not fully understood). Now every
time she highlights a block of text in Word and hits the "delete" key, she's
given a prompt "Delete block, yes/no" - which seriously annoys her. Any
assistance to removing that prompt will be greatly appreciated (I promise,
though, to tell her who really solved the mystery).

Tools | Options | General: Clear the check boxes for both options that refer
to WordPerfect.
