How do I type a Bible verse (in MS Publisher) to hang on the wall.

I want to type a Bible verse to hang on the wall. I prefer a sans-serif,
modern font. I want little or no decoration although a border might be all
right. How can I do ths in Publisher? Edith Short

Very easily? Oh, that's not the answer you wanted? ;-)

One assumes you have little to no experience with Publisher. Have you played
with the program at all? What *can* you do with it?

Thanks for your reply. Yes, I'm new to MSPublisher, but my trial edition
expires 28th Feb. I did a verse in "Design set" (I think). It's not bad but
I don't know how to get rid of the border at the top. I had fun in "Signs"
as did some teen-age visitors ("Keep out" for bedroom doors and "Lemonade for
sale") but I don't think any Sign templates would work for a Scripture text.
I'm also trying to do a 10-page booklet my husband wrote and a Christian
tract I wrote but I'll save my questions on those. Any suggestions for the
text? Edith

Thank you, Ms Sauer. I'll visit that Website devoted to Bible verse. I
appreciate your taking the time to answer my post. Edith Short

Oh! Thank you, Mr. Davis! I just dropped into that site for about 60
seconds but I'll return. Looks fascinating. Edith Short

There are very good sans serif fonts within Publisher
Verdana, Tahoma, Arial, Gill to name a few.
This site maybe useful

A 10-page booklet before Feb 28th? And a new user? You must be a glutton for
punishment.

As for your sign: Start with a blank document. Add a text block with your
saying. Pop in a border or background. Ta dum!

The same way you do it in Publisher.

(I'm sorry - that was just *begging* to be said. ;-) )

Thank you, Ms Paules. I'll go to Help and find out how to do a text block.
Must run. Husband and I have to drive through the snow, across the
international border to the Buffalo airport. Again: many thanks! Edith
