How do I unlocked the outbox?

I have goofed up and didn't notice how large my attachment was, 188 MB. Now
it's locked up the outbox and I don't know how to delete or fix it. Any
ideas? You'll have to answer me at my (e-mail address removed) address
because I've locked up Outlook 2003.

Thank you.

Load Outlook and put it into Offline mode. Exit and reload Outlook.
Now delete the item in the Outbox. Put Outlook back into Online mode.

So what does have Outlook (any version) have to do with you reading
replies in *newsgroups*? Outlook has and still does not support NNTP
(network news transfer protocol). That support is in Outlook Express!
Answering via e-mail is sometimes a spammer trap to get users to divulge
their true e-mail address. There is no reason for replies to be sent to
you via e-mail. Your Outlook Express will continue working just fine to
read the replies as it was used to submit your post.

However, upon looking at the headers in your post, you didn't even use a
real NNTP client but instead used the webnews-for-dummies interface, so
use it again to read replies to your post. Regardless of problems in
Outlook, your browser still works.

There is no reason anyone needs to send you e-mail for you to see the
replies in the newsgroup.
