How do I minimize Outlook to the tray, and not the bar? I use XP at home
and Win2K at work.

Which version of Outlook? Outlook 2003 has an option - look on the tray
icon. 2002 needs a registry hack -
http://www.outlook-tips.net/howto/minimize_tray.htm. Older versions need a
windows utility that supports traying apps.
