How do you add drop down options to cells?

if i'm understanding you correctly have a look at Data / Validation on the
settings tab, choose allow LIST
for details on how to use Data Validation more fully check out Debra
Dalgleish's excellent site

I am trying to add a drop down menu to cells in an
existing spreadsheet. Does anyone have a quick and dirty
