How do you Add Extra Paragraph Indent Marks in PPT

Hello,

I'm putting together a presentation with a lot of copy that needs to be in
an outline form and I'm trying to add extra indent marks in the ruler and for
the life of me can't seem to find the right key combinations that will alow
me to do it.

Is there a trick to it? Is it somewhere in the menu? HELP!

PowerPoint 2003 instructions: With the placeholder selected, press Tab to add
another set of indent markers. They'll be placed according to the
indentations of the 2nd, 3rd, etc. level bullets on the master.

By the way, if you don't mind my saying so, lots of copy in outline form
isn't usually the best way to design a presentation that will be clear to the
audience. I'd recommend that you put the entire outline in a printed handout
and put only the highest-level outline text on the slides. Or simply put 1 or
2 items on each slide and use more slides. Then the audience can focus on
what the presenter is saying.

Hi Ellen,

Thanks for the reply. That doesn't seem to work. I select the text box and
when I press TAB all that does is move my text cursor to the next TAB STOP. I
want to be able to create as many INDENT MARKERS (I don't want to put extra
TAB stops) on the ruler as I may need.

Right now when I click on the ruler all it does is put tab stops where ever
I CLICK.
