How do you create builds within in slide?

I need to do the following build within a slide:

Slide two shades back the right side (makes the fonts gray and the boxes 50%
transparency); adds the two shaded bars behind the text under Plaintiff
Advocates and Cowboy Blues; and adds the 2006 box.

Slide three adds the two red boxes and the 2007 box.

Does anyone know the steps to complete this?
