How do you embed equations into a text box?

I want to write a sentence that contains an equation in it. But the equation
editor is totally separate from the text box. In order for the presentation
to be effective, the equation needs to be placed in the middle of a sentence.

Any suggestions?

Kate--
This is a work around idea but its worked for me in the past-- actually use
3 separate text boxes-- one for the beginning of the sentence, then the
equation box, then the end of the sentence.... you can match them up fairly
well-- since I like design-looking slides, I usually do this type thing on 3
separate line areas-- so that it looks like: Beginning sentence (next line--
indented over- larger font) Equation Box (next line-- indented over-- same
font as beginning) ending of sentence... looks nice on a slide that way and
people SEE the formula, especially if you are taking time to explain it....
Good Luck!
