How do you format a datasheet for multiple text lines?

When creating a chart, there used to be a way to have multiple lines of text
in a datasheet. For example you could have Females on the first line and
25-54 on a separate line right underneath Females. I think it used to be the
alt shift key, but that doesn't seem to work anymore. Anybody know the
secret?

Yep, I've tried all the combinations of the Shift, Enter, and Alt keys I can
think of but they don't seem to work anymore.

I'm not sure I've ever actually succeeded in this, anyway; I think I've just
fudged it by setting the chart spacing and font size such that the titles
will wrap as needed.
