In the Windows version of Office, you can open up your .docx files in Powerpoint to automatically make a Powerpoint presentation. Who do you open a Word file in Powerpoint in Office 2008 for Mac?

Hi,

At this time the feature that you are referring to is not the same on
the Mac as it is on Office for Windows.

In Word, use the File menu and choose Send To > Microsoft PowerPoint. It
works better if you first use Word's View menu and choose Outline. Make
sure the Outline looks good before sending to PowerPoint.

Insert> Slides From> Outline File... assuming the Word file is properly
formatted using Styles that incorporate Levels.
