How Filter and Autofilter Interact

Does someone know how Filter interacts with the AutoFilter? I want to
AutoFilter for Name and then Filter for Past Due Date.

Easy- takes less than 2 minutes to check:
Both conditions have to be true, in other words they interact in a logical
"And"
