AFAIK there is no set time period. FWIW, Entourage actually syncs to the
³Truth². <http://www.entourage.mvps.org/syncservices/basics.html>

I generally see changes almost instantly.

Does anyone know how often Entourage 2004 synchronizes its contacts
with Apple's Address Book?

Going from memory here, an what I was once told by someone...

Syncing occurs through an intermediate 'Truth Database'. A change in
Entourage will make it update the truth database immediately. I don't know
how often Address Book check the database for new changes.

When idle Entourage checks the truth database for updates made in other
applications every two minutes.

I don't have any documentation to support these figures, it's just what I
remember from quite a while ago.

Have you got a problem with stuff not updating? What prompts your query?
