how i can count the dicontineued lines according to category wise

Dear Sir/Madam,

there is lot of categories every category have discontinued mrp
lines,increged mrp lines and some of them are blank because is regular
articles which are being defined as - ,+ and blank. category range is
A1:A7000 and articles range also is same as category . i want to calculate
the lines +,-,and blanks according to category wise.

Pls help me with the formulas
