How many installations do I need?

When I install Word, I always select the option for a
complete installation. Nevertheless, shortly after I
start typing or using a spell checker, I am told that the
part of the program I need has not been installed yet and
I need to dig out the disc and install the necessary
component.

How do I get absolutely everything I need installed in one
go? Why doesn't it do this anyway when I select the
complete installation method?

Try doing a custom install and selecting everything in the
list.
