how to add a msoControlButtonPopup to my toolbar in my outlook com

As I read it the page says it cannot be done using the CommandBars object
model and I've never seen anyone do it in any other way.

There are lots of things that are exposed internally for use by MS
programmers that aren't exposed in the Outlook/Office object models.

No. You can't add any 3rd party tools to the commandbars either.

Wait til Office 12. Outlook Object Model exposes more functionality. Until
then you are going to have to try to be creative in your commandbar
representations.

No new functionality for the command bars interface in Outlook 2007, there's
the ribbon but that's only for Inspectors.
