How to add a new File Extention to workspace

I added word documents to the workspace for collaberation and now I need to
add a file extention that does not exist such as .pdf to the workspace of the
project, I could not find the way, please also can we add also the icon of
file extention if possible...

Hi Wajdi,

You can't just add a file extension to anything. You will need to purchase
the full version of Adobe and use that to create a pdf file. Is this a
Project matter? This newsgroup is specifically for matters dealing with
Microsoft Project. If not Project , then I suggest you try to find a more
appropriate newsgroup that deals with your software problems.

Hi Glen,

I want to add a pdf file to the document library in the workspace of the MS
Project, the pdf document is needed so that resources will view and comment,
since there is no file extention ( content type or file type ) then I need a
way to add it

It sounds like you are using Project Server - try posting on the server
