Backup what? Your identity?
You can export to an archive, or quit all Office applications and
processes (the daemon) and backup the Identity from
~/Documents/Microsoft User Data.

Thank you for your information.

I would like to learn how to both. I do not know anything about (the
daemon).

My current situation is that I forgot to do a backup (I use SuperDuper)
for about 4 weeks. I'm now having troubles with my OS on the internal
HD. I would like to be able:
1. To save my identities, when I want.
2. I now want to save everything (like all my saved emails, Address
Book, etc), so I can then erase my internal HD and copy my backup to
the internal HD. Then I can take the archived file and 'replace?' it
with the 'old' one from my backup drive. Does this make sense to you?
